Hello, I am just an average white guy. The media would probably call me "Joe the Engineer" although Joe is not my real name. Tomorrow, I will be officially unemployed for only the second time in my life since I began working. The last time was voluntary. I took two weeks between jobs to drive from our home in Eldersburg, MD to our new home in Flagstaff, AZ. This time, the universe chose to show me how important positive thought is. Some of us need strong teachers because we only seem to be able to learn through experience.
Back in October when we got the news my job was being eliminated due to the slow economy, my wife, Tink, and I both thought it was an opportunity to find something better. We've both been students of the Law of Attraction for a couple of years - since "The Secret" came out. We've been listening to personal growth CD's, reading books, and trying to practice positive thought since then. So, this was a fantastic opportunity to really put it into action.
